Durante la jornada del jueves, se reportaron diversas manifestaciones en protesta por la destitución del Presidente Pedro Castillo, el pasado miércoles por parte del Congreso.
En diversas ciudades del vecino país se registraron barricadas y cortes de ruta, siendo Lima el principal foco de manifestaciones. A la vez, las personas denunciaron represión policial.
Cabe recordar que el Parlamento de Perú destituyó a Castillo horas después de que este comunicara que disolvía el Congreso. En su lugar asumió la vicepresidenta Dina Boluarte.
Según consignó La República, manifestantes bloquearon la ruta Panamericana Sur, además de informar sobre marchas en regiones y ciudades como Chota (Cajamarca), Trujillo, Puno, Ayacucho, Huancavelica y Moquegua.
